The hit maker Majek Fashek who’s reign has been in mark from the 1980s passed away yesterday June 1st 2020.
I am technically a millennial birthed in the late 90s but Majeks song caught my ears in my days as a University student exploring the diversity of Entertaiment in 2013/14 and for a long while the hit song rainmaker from the album “Prisoner of Conscience “ was on my playlist, so to a reasonable extent his artwork has contributed to my growth, not as an artist myself but as a thinker cause the rainmaker had wordings that would make you jolly at same time thoughtful.
Majeks last days were of redemption and I for one am glad it did not end in the totally worst case scenario, the hit maker , wonder man & the rainmaker passed away at a hospital in New York probably in the best hands and care.
This morning I’ve played the rainmaker , hotel California and presently the prostitute destitute is blasting on my beautiful jbl sound engine, I implore you to listen to any works of the rainmaker any day it is you come across this scribble. Cheers to the life of a Legend who lived in fortune and misery but lived, still lives in the stereo...
